PosiSense™ consists of a sensor and a monitor. The sensor, located above the patient’s bed, accurately detects repositions. Caregivers can see the status of each bed on a monitor, installed at the nursing station.

We’ve installed PosiSense in July 2019. Since then, we were able to radically decrease the number of new pressure injuries developed in the service. In addition, this system has enabled us to provide our residents with individualised repositioning plans. I believe with PosiSense all aged care providers can now start working towards a goal of zero pressure injuries.

I think it’s a wonderful thing. In my 49 years as a registered nurse, I haven’t seen a more helpful and easy to use device. Every nursing home should have it.
PosiSense™ is available on a subscription basis. All services, including installations, maintenance, repairs, training, and reporting are included in a flat monthly fee.
