PosiSence and The Prince Charles Hospital commence research in pressure injury prevention
February 24, 2020
PosiSense and The Prince Charles Hospital have commenced a joint research program to refine the use of new pressure injury prevention methodologies. Recent advancements in artificial intelligence technology enables gathering previously unavailable data that opens new research and practice frontiers. The research team is exploring these new opportunities to revolutionise repositioning, a key pressure injury prevention strategy.
This has potential to positively impact thousands of our most vulnerable members of society – elderly and immobile patients. Our research results are expected to positively contribute to the care provided by caregivers and nurses.
